Lets Get Hopping #4

Good Morning and Welcome to another Let's Get Hopping Blog Hop!. Today's  hop theme is  "Small Stamps".

Now I love making backgrounds for my cards and so using the small stamps in sets is always my go to. Painted Harvest stamp set is a fantastic set that has the cutest little acorn stamp, it was the first thing I thought of when the theme was released. Very simple card, but would make a fantastic masculine card as well.

The next two cards are sneek peeks from the new Ocassions Catalogue. Once I started creating, I found I couldn't stop.

The stamp set I used here is called "Bird Banter" and it was a giveaway to all demonstrators at  Onstage in Nov, it has a lot of little stamps, and I have used some on strips of card create a great  background.

I have also used some of the New "Stampin  Blends" to colour in the budgie. The Stampin blends are really easy to use, (and I am a beginner ) , the outcome looks fantastic.

Final card I have used the "Magical Day" stamp set, these tiny Seahorses, and bubbles are adorable. Again I have used the Stampin blends to colour the Seahorses, I  sponged the background with pool party ink, and used the Fine Tip glue inside the bubbles to give it a splashed water effect.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards and it gives you a few ideas to start using your smaller stamps.

The talented Tanya Rees is next on the blog hop.

Have a great day,
Tracy

Sneek Peek at Stampin Up's 2018 Occasions Catalogue.

Hello,

I have been playing around with a stamp set "Bird Banter" that will be coming out in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue which will be available January.

I wanted to start off simple using the new Stampin Blend Alcohol Markers, so what easier way then just colouring in the focal piece, Stampin Blends are not available in black, so I used the Basic Black Stampin Write Marker, and used Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Blends.

The Blends blend so perfectly, no need to be an expert to have it turn out so pretty. I was also able to use the blends to colour a tiny pearl in to attach to the heart.

Stamping the background is definately my style and I love how it makes makes the pumpkin pie card (which has been embossed with the new Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) stand out. I have also added two stitched square shapes to make the toucan stand out.

The black shimmer ribbon just makes everything tie in perfectly.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I will be back on Thurs with a blog hop, hope you will come check that out.

I also just wanted to let everyone know that there have been new items added to the CLEARANCE RACK" these sell quickly so be sure to have a look so your not disappointed.

Up to 70% off Clearance Items
