It's A Beautiful Day!!

This sentiment " It's A Beautiful Day " always gives me a little giggle, I accociate it with the "Going on a bear hunt" song from Dora The Explorer, my daughter absolutely loved Dora as a kid. And even though she is 19 now, I think I could probably still sing word for word, every song.

The greens, blues, and neutrals used on this card look so pretty, and this photo doesn't highlight the gorgeous Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, with the pearlized sheen. 

And for the final pop, using the new Stampin Up Black Embossing Powder, really lifts the sentiment, giving it a real elegance.

Hello and Welcome to TUESDAY, and CASEing day. Today's inspiration comes from pages 86 - 87.
And again this week I have used a stamp set that has been in a previous catalogue.

This is such a sweet card, and has so many possibilities for little tweeks, that could change the total design.

I am more of a dog lover, but these cats are gorgeous, and the stamps can easily be changed to lion, raccoon, fox or more.

Hello and Welcome, its CASEing the catalogue day again, and for this week I have chosen a really pretty Birthday card, from page 70 - 71, using a stamp set that has been around for a little while.

.

Perennial Birthday is a 14 stamp set, with flower images, and 5 sentiments ( in multiple fonts ) and I believe the multiple fonts make this stamp set a winner.

Colouring the White 1/8" Sheer ribbon, was so amazing, being able to take 1 ribbon and change to any colour I want was a lot of fun.

Dandelion Wishes Meets Watercolour Wash Background

This card started off being a lot lighter, using Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, and Soft Sea Foam. (See picture further down) It was a little hard to show up on the camera, so in came Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Blueberry Bushel.

The colours came together really well, I love that any sentiment could be used to change the card, and would make a fantastic Sympathy card too.

Minimal supplies used on this card makes it very east for a beginner crafter, but the tip here is the Shimmery White card, is a must. Not only giving it the lovely sparkle, but its perfect for adding water without pilling the card.

This photo does absolutely no justice to this card, I only wish you could all see it in person, to see the beauty it has.
