Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop February

Hello and Welcome to my blog,
Today I am participating in Kylie's Demonstrator
Training Blog Hop for February.

This is a training group to make positive changes
in my business to help it grow.

Today's card is a special birthday card I made for my Team Leader and Friend Jenn Frost.

This card is called a Double Slider card, and was inspired by a card Julie Davison (US Demo) had made. I have used Stampin Up's "Piece of Cake" bundle. This bundle is so cute and can be used for all age birthday cards, as well as Congratulations, Wedding and  Engagements cards.

Starting with a piece of Pool Party card 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", score on the 8 1/2" side at 2 3/4, 5 1/2, and 8 1/4.
You may need to slice a small strip off the opposite side of the tab, so when it folds together it fits nicely. Using the 1" circle punch and  the everyday label punch, cut out like the photo.

The mechanism that make this card slide is actually a piece of the thicker plastic that our Stampin Up Foil and Glitter paper are packaged in. Recycling packaging is definately something I try to do, not only is it free but its saving the environment at the same time.

Attach the plastic to the card, using Tear n Tape.

Decorate your sliding pieces and your focal piece for the front of the card.

Attach your sliders with Tear n Tape.

Using the Circle Tab punch, create a pull tab.

Attach belly band, and embellishments.

Envelope Punch Board to the rescue for this unusual size card. It is a sweet card, that is not too hard to put together, but I guarantee the recipient will be impressed.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope I have given you a little inspiration. There are so many wonderful projects along this blog hop,I hope you can continue the journey.
