Lets Get Hopping 21 Blog Hop June

Hello and Welcome to  the "Let's Get Hopping" blog hop for June. This month's theme is One Sketch - Two Cards. And I can't wait to see what everyone has created. So if you have joined in from Nina's blog or starting your journey here, thanks for visiting!

I love to scan Pinterest and get inspiration from sketches, so this challenge is so much fun. Although I could have chosen to create a sketch myself, when your busy this is a great way to get creating faster.

The sketch I have chosen is from "The Paper Players" and is sketch #268. This is a sketch that can be interpreted so many different ways.

My cards have some New products out of the 2019 - 2020 Annual Stampin Up Catalogue. This card is using the "Good Morning Magnolia" stamp set and the "Stitched Lace" die.

The colour combo is Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana & Rich Razzleberry, and this card looks so beautiful and delicate with the Lace die feature in the background.

This second card is so bright and happy, using the New "Daisy Lane" stamp set, and
"Stitched Nested Label" Dies from the "Free As A Bird" bundle. This card is also showing off two of those New "In-Colors" - "Pretty Peacock and Rococo Rose"

I couldn't stop at two, so I made another one, and for this card I have used the New "Bloom and Grow" stamp set. The columns have been created using Washi Tape to mask off an area and create a border.

Creating a sentiment that has been inked in different colours,is very easy to do, the easiest way is to ink up using the Stampin Write Markers, but id the stamp is photopolymer, you are able to see through the stamp to ensure you are only inking up the area needed.

I hope you have enjoyed this sketch made 3 ways, next up on the blog hop is the talented Shelly Wadge.                                  .

Thanks so much for visiting, Have a Wonderful Day!

    1. Thanks Linda, I find it easier to create with a sketch then to create on my own creativity. Thank you for your lovely comment Linda 😁
