Global Monthly Video Hop - NOVEMBER!

Hello and Welcome to another month where the GMVH crew get together and create wonderful cards and projects for you. This month's theme is Gift Giving, it is going to be a great hop, and I am so happy to be showing you a technique today called "Paper Piecing".

This Treat Box measures 6 x 4 x 3" and is a great size for treats, but it also has a Gift Card Holder in the lid, so it makes gift giving so easy.

I have created a Mickey Mouse for the top of this box, but you can create any character to put on the top of your box, this technique is a little fiddly and time consuming, but the recipient will be so happy with the finished look.

Mickey was created from a colouring sheet, so the sky is the limit on what can be created from the internet. I have created over the years Scooby Doo, Dora The Explorer, Blues' Clues for my kids (they are almost 19 and almost 22, so back then it was very limited)

I have also just created a Baby Yoda card for my son's girlfriend, and she was so thrilled with it.

The following video runs through the process, but it is super easy but a little time consuming, you may not want to make multiples, but certainly adds that special touch to personalize for a loved one.
