Lets Get Hopping #3

Welcome to my blog and Let's Get Hopping #3, this hop we are focusing on "Getting Back To Basic's, using only card, ink, and paper.

I am a relatively simple card maker anyway, but it can be hard not to use the Big shot, or tools, which are go to's for me.

I have focused on 1 stamp set (Merry Pattern), 3 card stock (Whisper White,Garden Green, Basic Black card, 3 ink pads (Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Garden Green).

So using minimal supplies is all that's needed for a beautiful card. I also tried my hand in making a rosette (a first for me), and I think it turned out really well.

I hope you have enjoyed this card, and it inspires you to go make a Back To Basic's card.

Onstage Swaps

Hello ,

So I had the opportunity to attend another Stampin Up's Onstage in Melbourne over the weekend. As a demonstrator Stampin Up hold two events every year to reveal the New Catalogue, you  play with some of the new products, you also given new products as prizes, but on top of that you are meeting other demonstrators and making new friendships. So much fun.

If you have ever thought of becoming a demonstrator, I would highly encourage you, there are so many benefits, not to mention the discounts which start at 20% off.

I decided to make a card, and a 3D swap.

I decided to you the Stained Glass Technique. so the flower has been white embossed onto vellum, and coloured on the back with Fresh Fig, and Tanquil Tide markers.

So happy how they turned out.

The 3D swaps were made with the envelope punch board, making a little pouch, with wrapped Kinder chocolates, and a little tag. I also made a little bag with a treat topper to showcase them a little. Focusing on the In Color's for my swaps this year, I made them in every colour using the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for popping in and having a look at my blog, and to all the demonstrators that kindly swapped with me Thank-you.

Cheers
Tracy x
