CASEing Tuesday

This weeks CASEing Tuesday #130, drew inspiration from the card on page 41 of the Ocassions catalogue.

This is a great layout, so I wanted to use a stamp set that I haven't had a chance to stamp with yet, "Sweet Little Something". Such sweet images, it's not quite close enough for me to start making Easter cards, so I thought this would make the cutest baby card.

A very quick and easy desk calendar, that looks so pretty. Perfect for those little gifts to friends, colleagues, neighbours, or teachers. Using minimal supplies these will not break your bank.

Casing the Catty CTC # 160. Picture Perfect Party Suite.

This weeks challenge for CASEing the Catalogue was to case a card from the Picture Perfect Party Suite on pages 4-9 of the Ocassions Catalogue.

I am in love with this suite, the bright colours, happy stamps, who doesn't love parties.

My Case came from the bottom of page 4.

I loved the layout, and colours, so I changed it around a little, and decided I would go with a present instead of donuts.

Doesn't that bow just POP!!!

Celebration Theme - Lets Get Hopping #5

Welcome to The Lets Get Hopping Blog Hop #5. 

Whether this is your first stop, or you are joining in from Diana Tillery's blog, I am so glad to have you here.
The theme for this hop is "Celebration", and being that this is such a busy time of the year, my first thought was simple and easy.

The photo makes the card look yellow in the photo but I have actually used Lemon Lime Twist and Island Indigo.
Using the Rock N Roll technique I have inked the flower stamp from Petal Palette in Lemon Lime Twist, then sponged Island Indigo ink with a sponge dauber. This technique gives it an amazing wow factor, and by using a black matt it has popped it a little more.

"Celebrate" has been die cut in black, and attached to a piece of Lemon lime cardstock that has been run through the Big-shot using the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Layered onto Island Indigo cardstock, which ties all the colours together nicely.
