Hello and Welcome,
The "Let's Get Hopping" have got together for Round #19, and this month's theme is DIY Backgrounds. If you have started your journey here or you have hopped here from Jenn's blog, I am so happy to have you visit.
For the background of this card, I wanted it to look like water, and have the shine as though the sun was shining down on the glistening water. It was created with the technique "Ink Smooshing" to bring in both Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue.
The glisten was created with the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer. The Stampin Spritzers are such a great tool to have and are so economical at $5 for two.
There is certainly a lot of sparkle on this card, with the embossing, shimmer paint and sequins.

Thank you so much for hopping by today, next up is the very talented Shelly.

What a fun technique, Tracy! If you use the mister with a shimmer paint can you wash it out afterwards and use it for a different colour/paint after? Very pretty card.
