Stampin Up's " Sea Of Textures " Octopus Card

Hello and Welcome,

I am so happy to have you here today, this card is so bright and fun, and I can't wait to show you how to make it!

The colour combo is Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Whisper White. The card has a crisp, clean feel to it, but lots of little details to make it a super special card.

Can you see the glistening sponged background? That effect is made using Stampin Up's "Glossy Paper". With a splattering of sequins in the backdrop.

Let's Get Hopping #19 DIY Backgrounds

Hello and Welcome,

The "Let's Get Hopping" have got together for Round #19, and this month's theme is DIY Backgrounds. If you have started your journey here or you have hopped here from Jenn's blog, I am so happy to have you visit.

For the background of this card, I wanted it to look like water, and have the shine as though the sun was shining down on the glistening water. It was created with the technique "Ink Smooshing" to bring in both Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue. 

The glisten was created with the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer.The Stampin Spritzers are such a great tool to have and are so economical at $5 for two.

There is certainly a lot of sparkle on this card, with the embossing, shimmer paint and sequins.

Fancy Fold Card featuring Sea Of Textures

I am not completely sure what the correct name for this fancy fold card, but what a card it is. This card has been cased from a fellow demonstrator, sorry not sure who, it was a swap from Onstage 2 years ago.

Using the Sea of Textures Stamp Sets and Under The Sea Framelit Dies, to decorate card was so easy.
