How to create a Christmas Scrapbook Page using the Nutcracker Tag Kit - GMVH December!

Hi Friends,
Welcome to another month with the Global Monthly Video Hop, these are amazing Demonstrators from around the world taking part each month to inspire your creativity.

December's theme is " Keeping Memories ", and I know we will have so much inspiration for you.

I'm using the Nutcracker Tags Kit, for the Kit Collection, not only do they make fantastic gift tags but also perfect for thos scrapbook pages too.

There are lots of details on this page that don't show up so well in the photo, so please make sure you take a look at the video tutorial. But some of the details are gold flecks, watermark stamping, tearing, and of course using a kit for not intended purposes.

Memory Keeping Let's Get Hopping #10

Welcome to another Let's Get Hopping Blog Hop, whether you have hopped from the talented Jennifer Frost, or you are starting your journey here, welcome.

Memory Keeping has be around forever, I started like most people when I started having kids, so they would have something special to look back on as they got older. My style has changed (which is great because my pages were very detailed, usually with paper piecing, and one double page could take me two weeks to complete). So lets just say my children's album's are not up to date. See picture below, of my earlier style.

When Project Life (Pocket Scrapbooking) came out, I loved the simplicity, and thought the task of finishing the kids album's were so daunting even with the quicker version. So I have done a little here and there over the years, but would love to be more productive in the future.

In Dec 2016 our family went on holiday's to the US for three weeks, I have printed all the photo's and some pages started, this blog hop has made me get moving on it all again.

These cute little building's have been white embossed onto basic black card, this stamp set has just retired, but I bought it with my US scrapbook in mind, and I think it turned out fantastic.

The title was made to look like the US flag, I know the N and E should have been blue background with white stars, and I did originally have the letters cut out in Blueberry Bushel and white embossed stars, but it made it look quite messy, so I changed to look a little more neater.

I have taken inspiration from the talented Jennifer Frost and her Artisan Design Team Blog Hop in May. I loved her papers behind the photo, so Thank you Jenn for your inspiration.

I hope you have been inspired to start or get back to scrapbooking, the talented Diana Tillery is next on the blog hop. Please feel free to leave a comment, and I hope to see you again soon.

Tracy x
