Creating a Simple Card with Stamps, Ink & Cardstock!

I am taking part in this weeks Monochromatic Instagram Hop, featuring Berry Burst. 

I am super excited to join these amazing crafters to share and inspire you.

Each week the theme is Monochromatic but the colour changes. I have chosen to use the Crafting with Friends stamp set from page 75 of the Annual Catalogue.

This card is so simple and uses just stamps ink and cardstock, so perfect for any crafting levels, but makes such a pretty card.

The splatters on this card are easy to create using our Stampin Blends, so if your Blends nibs become fluffy this technique is great to use those pens with.

These NEW Stampin Up! Embossing Folders are HUGE!

Each week the theme is Monochromatic but the colour changes. I have chosen to use the Attention Shoppers stamp set from page 65 of the Annual Catalogue.

I am also using one of the NEW embossing folder available in the Annual Catalogue, the Dotted Circles 3D is absolutely huge at 6 x 8 1/2" ( 15.2 x 22.7cm ) These are great to be able to emboss the whole card front.

Using the Colour Wheel to create a Monochromatic Card - Lemon Lolly!

 

Hi Friends,

I am taking part in this weeks Monochromatic Instagram Hop, featuring Lemon Lolly. I am super excited to join these amazing crafters to share and inspire you.

Each week the theme is Monochromatic but the colour changes. I have chosen to use the Flowers of Beauty bundle from the Unbounded Beauty Suite which is on pages 54 - 55. 

I used the Stampin Up Color Wheel for my card today. The color wheel has many suggested options Analogous, Complimentary, Triadic & Monochromatic!

The white wheel breaks up all the different combo's on the wheel, I chose to use the Monochromatic section, added the Lemon Lolly in the centre of the section.

The color wheel then gave me the colour combo of Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam & Lemon Lime Twist. Giving me a wonderful gradient of colour that I watercoloured down my Fluid 100 paper.

Each week the theme is Monochromatic but the colour changes. I have chosen to use the "Earthern Textures" bundle from the Annual Catalogue, you can find it on page 70 - 71.

I have also added a strip of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper to add a little fun interest to the card. The stamping of the sentiment down the other side also creates a little interest.

And welcome to another month with the Global Monthly Video Hop, there are amazing Demonstrators from around the world taking part each month to inspire your creativity. 

November's theme is  " Monochromatic ", and I am excited to see what everyone creates, I created a card using the Earthern Texture's Bundle for my project.

Monochromatic :

adjective

1. containing or using only one colour.

   "monochromatic light"

   • PHYSICS

     (of light or other radiation) of a single wavelength or frequency.

     "it employs diffraction to focus monochromatic light"

Although I use two colours, Mood Mauve & White, it's still considered a Monochromatic card.

Welcome to another Tracy's Sunday Challenge, this weeks theme is a " Monochromatic ". 

I love how different monochromatic can look, and I'm excited to see what everyone will create. Please be sure to share your creation over on my Facebook Page, and you can also see what everyone else is created.

The meaning of

   I purchased the Watercolour World stamp set for scrapbooking but I haven't inked it yet, till these cards. There really are so many ways to create a Monochromatic card, and I look forward to all your creativity.
