This patchwork design can be used with DSP or card stock, I had these 1/2" strips from another project, and its a can really create a WOW card just with left overs.

I love all these blues together, the Countryside Inn DSP, has great pattern, but the colours are amazing, Night Of Navy, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue & Misty Moonlight.

I have also used a scrap piece of Night Of Navy card which I scored to create a focus piece, adding the Basic White card die cuts.

Thanks so much for popping by my blog today, to continue the blog, please see the links to the other video's below.

Global Monthly Video Hop - SCRAPS!

Hello and Welcome to another month where the GMVH crew get together and create wonderful cards and projects for you. This month's theme is Scraps, everyone has them, but how do you use yours, this hop may give you lots of ideas and inspiration to use some or most of them up. I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

As I have a whole filing cabinet full of scrap card, this project is a great one, I tend to always head to my cabinet first when creating a card, so I am always using from my stash. But you may have a smaller stash, and this project will still work, just create it on a smaller scale.

I am playing with the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set today, it is part of the Ice Cream Corner Suite in the Mini Catalogue on pages 48 - 49.

I totally love the bright summery colours for this card, and I know it would lift anyone's spirits to receive this card.

Let's Get Hoppin #32 Scrap It

Hello and Welcome to another Blog Hop with the "Let's Get Hopping" group. Whether you have hopped here from the very talented Eimear Carvill's blog, or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.

The theme this month is "Scrap It". This theme is all about using your left over scraps, something I do regularly, as I hold all scraps in a file, and use them regularly.

I admit these are large scraps, but these all ( except the card base and Whisper White frame) came out of my scrap files. The colour combo used is Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry, mango Melody, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana.

To create the scrap piece, I have used a piece of  Whisper White card measuring 3 3/4 x 5", and adhered strips diagonally with liquid glue.

Once dry I have snipped off excess card with my paper snips, the left over card is perfect for die cuts and punched pieces, so I have just put these back in my files.

Creating dimension on the frame I have used the outer bones of the dimensional sheets, these were the perfect size. The NEW "Forever Fern" bundle is so fantastic, I have used the large leaf die, and sentiment "Hello" to create this simple card.

Be sure to subscribe to my blog posts, as I will have so many more ideas using this bundle, coming soon.

Thanks so much for popping by today, I hope you have enjoyed this card, please follow the link below for so much more inspiration, next up on the hop is my wonderful friend Shelly Wadge.
