Let's Get Hopping #35

Hello and Welcome to another Blog Hop with the "Let's Get Hopping" group. Whether you have hopped here from the very talented Shelly Wadge's blog, or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.

This months theme is "Choose A Past Theme" and it was a very hard choice as we have had so many great ones. I choose to use #23 Use Up That DSP, this is something I have been trying to improve on, I hoard DSP for that perfect card, layout or project, and it just sits, are you guilty of that too? Well I am on a mission to use it more.

I am using up my "Magic In This Night" DSP, all through September I have been creating  Spooky Halloween cards and projects, so if you haven't seen what I have already created, take a look back in my blog.

The first a card where I have put three DSP strips to create the background to the card. Add a quick sentiment, and glittery (Spooky) ribbon, and we have a quick card using up that DSP.

The second project is a Treat Box,this box measures 4 1/4 x 2 3/8 x 1 1/4". Perfect for that little treat to let a friend or loved one know you are thinking of them.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today, and I have inspired you to use your stack of DSP, to continue the hop and see what my friend Jennifer Frost has created, please click on the link below.

Thanks for visiting, please feel free to leave a comment, I will be back very soon with another project, I hope you can join me then!

Tracy x

  1. Totally guilty of that which is why I choose the very same theme! Super fun projects Tracy. I don't do much with Halloween but those cute treat boxes would be a great idea for some kids I know.

  4. Ooh I loved that DSP challenge when we first featured it and I love that you chose to feature it again this month. Such fun projects and a fantastic way to use those leftover strips of DSP we all seem to have. Thanks for being part of the Let's Get Hopping team for the past three years, I've really enjoyed seeing your projects each month

    1. Thanks Tanya, we all have a stash of DSP, and my aim this year was to hoard less and use more... Not sure if I'm winning!!! Thanks so much for taking over this group, I have loved every single month we have been hopping...
