Let's Get Hopping #15

Hello and Welcome to Round 15 of Let's Get Hopping, whether you have just hopped over from  the Wonderful Nina McMillan's blog or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.

This months theme is Christmas Craft, anything but a card, and I thought I would kill two birds with one stone this time. Each year I create a box for my nieces and nephews for Christmas, and its filled with lollies.

They are getting older, so the boxes are getting smaller, and when Stampin Up put out the Holiday Catalogue, I knew I wanted the Takeout Treats Bundle.

Although these boxes aren't big, they can still hold a few gumballs or treats, and they are so cute. They measure approx 2 x 2 x 1"

The Buffalo Check Background stamp makes the perfect Traditional background for the box, and the Gold Embossing makes the box look so special!

Here are the boxes for the Nieces and Nephews that I completed.

Thank you for visiting today, please click on the link below to be taken to Tanya Rees's Blog to see what she has for you!

Have a Wonderful Day!

Christmas Treat Box

Hello and Welcome,

Today's project is a cute little Christmas box that measures 2 x 2 x 1 1/4".
The perfect size for gifting jewellery, or a sweet treat.

The new Buffalo Check background stamp (pg 38) was my inspiration for this project, and I couldn't help myself by using the Sign's Of Santa Stamp Set, and Poppy Parade ribbon from the Santa's Workshop Suite (pg 18-19)

Although I put a Ferrero Rocher inside for the photo. I generally don't use chocolate in with gifts at Christmas time, it's too hot, and the chances of it melting and ruining my projects is too high, and not worth the risk.

I hope you have enjoyed today's Christmas Box, for the video tutorial please click the link below, and I would love to hear any comments you have.

Until next time, Have a Wonderful Day!

Tracy x
