"The Great Outdoors" Fun Fold Card!

Welcome to the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop for September, this month's theme is "The Great Outdoors", I am so excited to show you what I have created, but I hope you are ready for lot's of great inspiration.

Whether you are starting here or hopped from another blog you are currently visiting Tracy Bish from Australia. I hope you enjoy my project.

Nothing says "Great Outdoors" like mountains, and I really needed to create a few more masculine birthday cards so this one was perfect for that.

My card used the "Mountain Air" bundle which can be found on page 17 of Stampin Up's Annual Catalogue, it has 7 stamps that are "Reversibles" which means you have a solid image and detailed image on one stamp, and so easy to create awesome scenes for your cards or projects.

I have also used "In Good Taste" DSP, this has one side wood grain (masculine) and the other side different textures and patterns (more feminine) and I highly recommend this paper pack, its beautiful.

This is the card created with more mountains stamped on the circle, I like it better, what about you?

This is a fun Diorama card using the Dino Days stamp set and the Dino dies. It is a fun card that I created with the kids in mind, and who doesn't like Dinosaurs!

Using bright, happy colours for this card, but it would also look great in pinks and reds for a girls card too.

Inside the card is a strip of card that gives the effect the Dinosaurs are walking through the scene.Such a simple card that is so special, it can be easily folded flat too.

Ink and Inspiration June

Welcome to the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop for June, this month's theme is "Focus On Tools", I am excited to show you what I have created, but I hope you are ready for lot's of great inspiration.

Whether you are starting here or hopped from another blog you are currently visiting Tracy Bish from Australia. I hope you enjoy my project.

This theme came at the perfect time, I had these scraps on my desk from a Tips and Tricks video about my favourite technique "Heat Embossing", so what a great way to use these to create a card.

  VIEW VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

The video tutorial walks through the steps of Heat Embossing using the Heat Tool. This tool is versatile, it can dry your projects, heat emboss on delicate vellum and card.

Stampin Up carry a great range of Embossing Powders, White, Clear, Gold and Silver. Using the clear embossing powder also allows you to use any Stampin Up Classic ink to emboss in as well.

My card has pieces of vellum embossed with copper (no longer available but Gold would look great too), Whisper White card embossed with Old Olive Ink and Clear powder, Crumb Cake card embossed with copper, Basic Black card embossed with White Embosssing Powder.

I hope this card has given you some inspiration, please follow the blog hop by clicking on the links below.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop October

Image may contain: text

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop, if you are starting your journey here or you have hopped here I am so happy you have popped in.

This months theme is "Happy Holiday's", and I have a cute card for you, using the "Cup Of Cheer" bundle.

The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, and Granny Apple Green, I love using traditional colours for Christmas.

Teaming up two Designer Series Papers, both Night Before Christmas for the Crumb Cake piece and Wrapped In Plaid for the Cherry Cobbler piece.

What do you think of the foamy cuppa? The "Snowfall Accents Puff Paint" is a little gem in the Holiday Catalogue, that creates a great effect for foam and snow. It is easy to use and looks so fancy.

Cup Of Cheer Dies is a 13 piece die set that has a couple of dies that are not part of the stamp set, like a Candy Cane, Mistletoe. Both of which I have incorporated into this card.

I hope you have enjoyed the card today, and its given you a little inspiration. You are currently visiting Tracy Bish. Please see the list  below and hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects, You won't want to miss any!

Have a Wonderful Day!
