I chose to use the "Hues Of Happiness" suite from pages 108 - 109 of the Annual Catalogue.
This suite is so beautiful, the stamp set has lots of flower images, but it the sentiments that make this set amazing, with a great array of occasions covered.

The colour combo I've used is Balmy Blue, Polished Pink and Parakeet Party, the pop of colour is so pretty, some cards I have blended the colour lighter, I love both looks of bright and light.

How to Create a card using the "EMBOSS RESIST" Technique!

Welcome Friends to another Fun "Sunday Facebook Challenge". This weeks challenge is a "Emboss Resist Technique. This is where you heat emboss an image, sponge with ink, and then wipe off any ink sitting on the embossed surface. This is an Amazing technique and I can't wait to see what is created.

I have used a cute set called "Sweets And Treat" this can be found on page 11 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue, and also my new favourite colour "Polished Pink"

The White embossing really does pop off the page with this technique.

Ink and Inspiration June

Welcome to the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop for June, this month's theme is "Focus On Tools", I am excited to show you what I have created, but I hope you are ready for lot's of great inspiration.

Whether you are starting here or hopped from another blog you are currently visiting Tracy Bish from Australia. I hope you enjoy my project.

This theme came at the perfect time, I had these scraps on my desk from a Tips and Tricks video about my favourite technique "Heat Embossing", so what a great way to use these to create a card.

The video tutorial walks through the steps of Heat Embossing using the Heat Tool. This tool is versatile, it can dry your projects, heat emboss on delicate vellum and card.

Stampin Up carry a great range of Embossing Powders, White, Clear, Gold and Silver. Using the clear embossing powder also allows you to use any Stampin Up Classic ink to emboss in as well.

My card has pieces of vellum embossed with copper (no longer available but Gold would look great too), Whisper White card embossed with Old Olive Ink and Clear powder, Crumb Cake card embossed with copper, Basic Black card embossed with White Embosssing Powder.

I hope this card has given you some inspiration, please follow the blog hop by clicking on the links below.

Until Next Time,

Stampin Up's "Timeless Tulips" Bundle Card!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's CASE card can been found on page 43 of Stampin Up's Mini Catalogue, and uses the "Timeless Tulips" bundle. I was completely drawn to this card with the sponged background and embossed tulips that just seem to dance from the card.

I have made a few little changes to the card, I have used the Frosted Epoxy Droplets and coloured with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin Blends, the catalogue have used the 2019 - 2021 In Color Faceted Dots. Also the card may have been sponged with Pretty Peacock on the top of the card, as it is a little darker in the catalogue, but I am still very happy with how the card has come together.

The background is so pretty with the droplets of water down on the sponged ink, creating a great backdrop for these standout Tulips!
