Creating a Tile Card using Detailed Dogwood Stamp!

Hi Friends,

I am taking part in this weeks Monochromatic Instagram Hop, featuring Sweet Sorbet. I am super excited to join these amazing crafters to share and inspire you.

Each week the theme is Monochromatic but the colour changes. I have chosen to use a stamp set called " Detailed Dogwood " which can be chosen till the end of February as your FREE Sale A Bration item with qualifying order in my Online Store.

Stamping the Detailed Dogwood stamps on my Basic White card layer, and cutting it into pieces creates a Tile effect, its a simple technique which I think looks so striking.

How to Create a card using the "EMBOSS RESIST" Technique!

Welcome Friends to another Fun "Sunday Facebook Challenge". This weeks challenge is a "Emboss Resist Technique. This is where you heat emboss an image, sponge with ink, and then wipe off any ink sitting on the embossed surface. This is an Amazing technique and I can't wait to see what is created.

I have used a cute set called "Sweets And Treat" this can be found on page 11 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue, and also my new favourite colour "Polished Pink"

How to Create A Ink Blended Night Sky!

 Hello and Welcome,

Today's card is a stunning one, I created it for a Christmas Card but this could easily be converted to a Masculine, Birthday, Sympathy, so many possibilities.

The inks I chose to create the sky with were Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Night Of Navy, but you could use any inks, create a Northern Lights, so many combinations.

One tip foe you when using the Shimmer Paint, I would highly recommend letting that dry naturally, as I had to speed up the process with the Heat Tool, which caused it to bubble, it looks fine, but I prefer the natural drying process a lot more.

Stampin Up's "Timeless Tulips" Bundle Card!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's CASE card can been found on page 43 of Stampin Up's Mini Catalogue, and uses the "Timeless Tulips" bundle. I was completely drawn to this card with the sponged background and embossed tulips that just seem to dance from the card.

I have made a few little changes to the card, I have used the Frosted Epoxy Droplets and coloured with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin Blends, the catalogue have used the 2019 - 2021 In Color Faceted Dots. Also the card may have been sponged with Pretty Peacock on the top of the card, as it is a little darker in the catalogue, but I am still very happy with how the card has come together.

The background is so pretty with the droplets of water down on the sponged ink, creating a great backdrop for these standout Tulips!
