I'm using the Painterly Pears Suite available now from the Online Exclusives section in my Online 

Store. This month's theme is CASEing the Catty and I chose a simple card from page 32.

CASEing the Catalogue - featuring Just Kiddin' stamp set & Dies!

I chose to CASE the card below, which can we found on page 24 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue. This page is part of the "Boughs Of Holly" Suite.

Changing it to the Storybook Gnomes Suite was super easy and they book look equally AMAZING!!!

I decided to CASE straight from the catalogue, when I saw the card on page 13, I knew I needed these dies "Tree Lot Dies" 

CASEing can mean a lot of different things, copy a card completely like I did, use the same colours, same layout, or choose an element from a card.

CASEing the NEW Stampin Up Mini Catalogue Jan - Jun 2022!

And WELCOME to 2022!!! This year is going to be our Crafty Year filled with  tonnes of crafty fun & inspiration! If you are new here, feel free to join in, you are very welcome.

This weeks Challenge is "CASEing the Catty" and there is just 2 short days until this catalogue goes live WhooHoo!

You can find this card in the Sale A Bration Brouchure page 16 in the Host section. I loved this card and knew that the Sweet Conversation bundle would work beautifully!

You can CASE from any catalogue you wish, and this really is the best way to find creativity, swap out the colours, stamp sets, elements, and you will end up with a completely different card.

Stampin Up's "Celebrate Sunflowers" CASEing The Catalogue Card!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card has been CASEd from the Annual Catalogue on page 13. It is using the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set , and this card really sold this set to me.

You may see a little difference in these two cards, let me tell you a little about each one, and why they look so different.

My sample card uses the Water Colour pencils and edge of the petals have been coloured with Whisper White reinker. This ample looked nice but still not close enough to the sample in the catalogue. 

The catalogue sample recipe had that Shimmer Paint was used, but the effect left the card very shiny and I was not a fan of the end result.

This is the card created on my video tutorial using the Whisper White water colouring pencil for the edge of each petal. This card turned out amazingly, I am so happy with it, and it looks the closest to the card in the catalogue.
