Creating 3 Cards using Watercolouring!

Hello Friends,
It's Watercolouring Month and I wanted to create a few cards using a few watercoloring techniques.

VIEW VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

Let's take a look at the cards we are creating!

This first card has been inked on an acrylic block, and sprayed with alcohol before stamping on fluid 100 water colour paper.

The second card I have used three colour inks to create a gradient wash, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody & Crushed Curry. Adding droplets of water to lift a little colour and create a great look at the same time.

Card three and my favourite I have used three colours to create a background, that is both soft and pretty, inks used Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie.

I hope that you have enjoyed today's project, if you haven't signed up for my emails you can do so on the side of this blog.
If you would like to join in this weeks challenge, create your project, and put a photo of it over on my Facebook page, the challenge will be pinned to the top of the page. I can't wait to see what you create.

Have a Wonderful Day!

Creating a Seed Pouch Card!

Hi Friends,
Today's project is a fun Seed Pouch Card. I wanted to create something exciting using the Celebrate Sunflowers" bundle that is on sale for 20% off , throughout the month of March.

The Celebrate Sunflowers bundle is a great set, and I'm happy to say its sticking around in the New Annual Catalogue.

Although I have used the Sunflower Bundle with sunflower seeds, this idea would work for any seeds, and such a wonderful gift idea.

If you create a seed pouch, I would love if you shared with me, I think there really are so many variations you could create.

Thanks so much for popping by today, I hope you enjoyed this card, if you need any of the supplies, I would love if you would purchase them in my online store.

Have a Wonderful Day,

Create your OWN DSP! Tracy's Sunday Challenge 28th Nov

Hey Friends,
Welcome to another Tracy's Sunday Challenge, I hope you are excited for another SKETCH CHALLENGE, these are always my favourite, as I love to see how different everyone's interpretation is.

I have created by own DSP in the background for this card using Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, this is such an easy way to create a quick and beautiful card.

I have heat embossed with Black embossing powder the sunflowers and leaves, you could also just stamp in memento, but I really like the shiny look and how it makes them stand out.
To create this dreamy effect I have sponged over the embossing with Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, Cinnamon Cider & Soft Suede ink.

Stampin Up's "Celebrate Sunflowers" CASEing The Catalogue Card!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card has been CASEd from the Annual Catalogue on page 13. It is using the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set , and this card really sold this set to me.

You may see a little difference in these two cards, let me tell you a little about each one, and why they look so different.

My sample card uses the Water Colour pencils and edge of the petals have been coloured with Whisper White reinker. This ample looked nice but still not close enough to the sample in the catalogue.

The catalogue sample recipe had that Shimmer Paint was used, but the effect left the card very shiny and I was not a fan of the end result.

This is the card created on my video tutorial using the Whisper White water colouring pencil for the edge of each petal. This card turned out amazingly, I am so happy with it, and it looks the closest to the card in the catalogue.

What do you think?
