Caseing the Catalogue Card - Global Monthly Video Hop - September!

Hi Friends,

Welcome to another month with the Global Monthly Video Hop, these are amazing Demonstrators from around the world taking part each month to inspire your creativity.

September's theme is " CASE the Catty ", and I know we will have so much inspiration for you.

I absolutely love this card from the Stampin Up Annual Catalogue page 82, it was the reason I purchased the Sea Turtle stamp set, and knew this was the card I wanted to Case.

I have used one of the NEW bundles from the Mini Catalogue, the Snowy Wonder bundle is part of the Snowy Scenes Suite pages 32 - 33.

And WELCOME to 2022!!! This year is going to be our Crafty Year filled with tonnes of crafty fun & inspiration! If you are new here, feel free to join in, you are very welcome.

This weeks Challenge is "CASEing the Catty" and there is just 2 short days until this catalogue goes live WhooHoo!

You can find this card in the Sale A Bration Brouchure page 16 in the Host section. I loved this card and knew that the Sweet Conversation bundle would work beautifully!

You can CASE from any catalogue you wish, and this really is the best way to find creativity, swap out the colours, stamp sets, elements, and you will end up with a completely different card.

Stampin Up's "Celebrate Sunflowers" CASEing The Catalogue Card!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card has been CASEd from the Annual Catalogue on page 13. It is using the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set , and this card really sold this set to me.

You may see a little difference in these two cards, let me tell you a little about each one, and why they look so different.

My sample card uses the Water Colour pencils and edge of the petals have been coloured with Whisper White reinker. This ample looked nice but still not close enough to the sample in the catalogue.

The catalogue sample recipe had that Shimmer Paint was used, but the effect left the card very shiny and I was not a fan of the end result.

This is the card created on my video tutorial using the Whisper White water colouring pencil for the edge of each petal. This card turned out amazingly, I am so happy with it, and it looks the closest to the card in the catalogue.

CASEing The Catty - Christmas!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card has been CASEd from page 60 of the Stampin Up Annual Catalogue. I thought it would be great to do a few "Christmas In July" projects throughout the month.

This card uses the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and the Pine Tree Punch.

In the catalogue this is a set of 3 cards showing how to step up your cards, I love that our catalogues have so much inspiration for all levels of crafters.

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card is a CASE from the Stampin Up Annual Catalogue and can be found on page 169. It has been created using the "Lovely You" bundle, and this bundle is Amazing!

The colour combo for this card is Mango Melody, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry,and the colours are so rich and vibrant, this card just pops.

Let's talk about the stamp set for a minute, it not only has these cute flower and leaf images, the sentiments are the best... With a mixture of type font and scriptive lettering, there is a sentiment for everyone here.

Hello and Welcome,

Today's CASE card is from page 51 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue using the "Pedal To The Metal" stamp set. This is an Amazing Masculine stamp set for all ages.

This card also uses the "Mountain Air" bundle, which is a new purchase for me, but I am so excited that I got it.

Wouldn't this card be perfect for the the young to the elder male? The motorbike stamp is a outline stamp, and can be coloured with many different mediums, from Water Colour pencils, Stampin Blends, Stampin Write Markers, Blender Pens or the Aqua Brush.

This card the Stampin Blends were used, and they really are fun to colour with.

Hello and Welcome,

Today I will be CASEing from the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue page 38, using the "Timeless Tropical" Bundle from page 38 of the Stampin Up's Mini Catalogue.

You will find this card in the catalogue as a 3 x 3" card, I decided to make it a full size card to go through the mail a little easier!

This is a very simple card, where the main focus is the Tropical Oasis DSP. It is also showing how to stamp with the Stampin Write Markers. It is also a quick card to put together.

Hello and Welcome,

Today I will be CASEing from the Stampin Up Annual Catalogue! There are so many wonderful cards still left to CASE but I am quickly running out of time. NEW Annual Catalogue is coming soon, can you hear my EXCITEMENT!!!

Well until then, let me show you are card straight from page 117, using the "Swirly Frames" and "Free As A Bird" stamp set.

The colour combo for the card is Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede and Granny Apple Green. So many colours!!! Isn't this card Gorgeous!

Lots of little details on this card, from the background stamping, the textures from the twine and ribbon, slight colouring of images, and dimension. What is your favourite part?
