Christmas In August - Global Monthly Video Collaboration!

Hello and Welcome,

Welcome to August's Video Hop with the Global Monthly Video Collaboration Crew. We will all be creating projects using this month's theme "Christmas In August". So excited to see what will be created, Christmas is my favourite time to craft.

This fun interactive card uses two bundles in Stampin Up's Mini Catalogue, "Freezin Friends" and "Coming Home"

This Pull Tab card lets the Bunny ski along the card, isn't it adorable!!!!

And just in case you needed a close up look to how the pull tab card works, Foam Adhesive Strips make really light work.

I have used retired Dazzling Diamonds Glitter because this card really needed a little sparkle, but any glitter would work well.

Hello and Welcome,

Another month has past and this month's theme is a great one. We will all be creating projects using the our Flag colours. So excited to see what will be created, especially as most of us have the colours of red, white and blue in our flags.


                                                           

I live in Australia, so my inspiration come from the flag above, and can see I have brought over the colours as well as the stars to my card.

I wanted to create something a little different, so I chopped a little of the top of the card, to create like a barn door effect.

Incorporating flowers and stars to the card.

The flowers are punched with the Perennial Flower Punch, and layered to give a great 3D effect.

Flower centres have a little Fine Tip Glue added, and once this dries it become really shiny. How cute are the added stars from the Stitched Stars Dies and Star Designer Elements.

Masculine Themed Card Set! "MAY" GMVC

This months theme is "Masculine". And I am so looking forward to seeing what everyone has created, to continue the hop, look for the links below!

This is a very simple and easy card, focusing on inking the background over embossed images. This could also be achieved using just the single layer card.

Each layer has been die cut out of Shimmery White card with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Stamp sets used are "Best Catch", "Sailing Home" and "Well Said".

Stamps have been Heat Embossed with Black Embossing Powder.

You could play around with many different colour combo's, the inks I have used on these set of cards are Mango Melody, Balmy Blue, Night Of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Pineapple Punch and  Gray Granite.

And to add a little sparkle to each card I have flicked a little Frost White Shimmer Paint over inked piece.

You can't get more feminine than flowers, and I am so enjoying playing with the "Peaceful Poppies" Suite. 

I had originally started with this card, but than worked out that Stampin Up no longer sell the Gold Metallic Thread, so changed it to the Silver.

These are both so BEAUTIFUL!!! And I love that these cards look so elegant, but use minimal supplies, and this card can be created for any occasion.

How to Create a "SPRING" Buckle Card!

Hello and Welcome,
Today I am taking part in a video hop with the "Global Monthly Video Coallab Group" We are Stampin Up Demos from around the world, who get together every month to bring you a little inspiration.

This months theme is "SPRING". Although here in the South Pacific we are getting ready for the Autumn weather, I am happy to be creating with nice happier colours.

Creating a card with a little mix of both Annual Catalogue and Mini Catalogue items, I think this card had turned out really well.

Completely inspired by the "Best Dressed" DSP, the Daisy Punch worked in perfectly. Colour Combo for card is Daffodil Delight, Purple Posy, Highland Heather, and Shaded Spruce.

The inside card for writing could be enlarged if you like to write long messages, but I like to keep them short and sweet, and not cover up too much of the beautiful DSP in the background.

Global Monthly Video Collab group are joining up again for 2020, we are looking forward to bringing you a lot of inspiration and ideas throughout the year.

This month's theme is "Love", just in time for all your Valentines needs, we have decided to not limit ourselves with just one stamp set, so I hope you enjoy this months video hop.

I don't usually purchase Valentine's / Love stamp sets, so this theme was a little hard for me. After going through my stash, I found the "Support Ribbon" dies, which had 2 sized heart dies, so I started from there.

I also knew I wanted to show off some of the new products from the Sale A Bration and Mini Catalogue too, and I just had to show off the cutest Free item in the Sale A Brations catalogue "The Gangs All Meer" stamp set.

Also used from the new catalogues the Coastal Weave Embsossing Folder and Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon. These catalogues are jam packed with gorgeous products, if you would like to take a look, click on the Catalogue tab up top!
