How To Heat Emboss with Embossing Folders!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's video I have a technique for you using your Embossing Folders, I will be showing you how to heat emboss with your folders, the outcome is amazing!

Because I am focusing of Halloween this month, I have chosen the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder, which can be found on page 53 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue.

Let's look at what you can create!

This technique will offer two looks, as you have a positive and negative to the folders, I love both, what is your favourite?

I hope your mind is racing on what you could create, its a great technique with so many options, let me know what embossing folder you would use to create a card.

Let's Get Hopping #35

Hello and Welcome to another Blog Hop with the "Let's Get Hopping" group. Whether you have hopped here from the very talented Shelly Wadge's blog, or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.

This months theme is "Choose A Past Theme" and it was a very hard choice as we have had so many great ones. I choose to use #23 Use Up That DSP, this is something I have been trying to improve on, I hoard DSP for that perfect card, layout or project, and it just sits, are you guilty of that too? Well I am on a mission to use it more.

I am using up my "Magic In This Night" DSP, all through September I have been creating  Spooky Halloween cards and projects, so if you haven't seen what I have already created, take a look back in my blog.

The first a card where I have put three DSP strips to create the background to the card. Add a quick sentiment, and glittery (Spooky) ribbon, and we have a quick card using up that DSP.

The second project is a Treat Box,this box measures 4 1/4 x 2 3/8 x 1 1/4". Perfect for that little treat to let a friend or loved one know you are thinking of them.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today, and I have inspired you to use your stack of DSP, to continue the hop and see what my friend Jennifer Frost has created, please click on the link below.

Thanks for visiting, please feel free to leave a comment, I will be back very soon with another project, I hope you can join me then!

Stampin Up's "Ghoulish Goodies" Halloween Card

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card is a quick and easy card, but I really wanted to highlight Stampin Up's "Ghoulish Goodies" stamp set. This halloween set has really awesome images and sentiments.

GHOULISH GOODIES CLING STAMP SET

This set is truly the only stamp set needed for Halloween, I can happily say I love every image in this set. It can be found in the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue on page 55. Let me show you the card.

Using the layering circles and breaking them up a bit with the Label Me Lovely punch, these breakdown the images and create a great feature.

I have kept this card to the very simple Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Basic Black colours, but you could also change the colour palate or add extra colours in too.
