Let's see what Shaker cards you can come up with!

The Holly Jolly stamp set can be found on page 29 of the Mini Catalogue, its a cute one to colour, and the how adorable are the Santa's.

Shaker cards can be filled with many things, sequins, glitter, beads, I just happened to have old Stampin Up glitter in my stash, so that's what I have used. But Stampin Up also have a few ranges of sequins available that would look amazing too!

Lets Get Hopping 28

No photo description available.

Hello and Welcome to another Blog Hop with the "Let's Get Hopping" group. Whether you have hopped here from Alicia's blog, or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.
The theme this month is "Shaker Cards"!

Today's card is using a Host set from the Mini Catalogue called "Make A Splash" This stamp set can be earned for FREE with a $250 order or by having a Party with sales of $250.

I love this stamp set, and I knew it would be perfect as a Shaker card, especially with these blue beads to give the look of bubbles in the water.

This shaker card was designed to be a See - Through Shaker card, that opens up to a fish bowl inside.

To create card,
1. Stamp fish bowl onto Balmy Blue matting card, and foam piece, and Whisper White card, fussy cut  all images, including the middle of the bowl.
2. Layer matting over Thick Whisper White card base, trace image with a pencil, and fussy cut.
3. Emboss Balmy Blue layer with Mosaic 3D folder.
4. Stamp 3 fish with Pumpkin Pie ink, fussy cutting these images.
5. Stamp 4 reeds with Call Me Clover ink, fussy cutting these images, and glue two together, so both sides cam be shown through the fishbowl.

 6. Adhere with Tear N Tape one Window Sheet to top of card base, and one to the back of the Balmy Blue matting.
7. Attach two fish to strips of window sheet, adhere to the back of matting, and reeds to the base of the fishbowl as well.

8.Glue foam piece to the back of Balmy Blue matting.
9.Place Foam Adhesive Strips around  the edge of the matting, and fishbowl, add beads, and adhere the second window sheet over the top.
10.Adhere matting to card base.

11. Stamp reeds with Call Me Clover ink to the blue fishbowl, that was fussy cut earlier, glue in the 3rd fish. This piece will also be glued to the inside of the card.
12. Stamp sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink, onto Whisper White card, glue to Call Me Clover card, and adhere to card.

Playful Penguins Shaker Card

Hello and Welcome,

Have I told you how much I love this stamp set? I love the cute penguins images, the sentiments, and the total versatility this set has.

And I also wanted to use the new Ice Stampin Glitter and Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, and a snowy shaker card scene seemed like the perfect idea.

Have a look at the penguins chest, the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint really packs a punch and creates the best detail on the penguin. This also works really well for snow tipped mountains, snow on trees, or for frothy drinks. You will find so many reasons to use it on your Christmas Cards.
