How To Heat Emboss with Embossing Folders!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's video I have a technique for you using your Embossing Folders, I will be showing you how to heat emboss with your folders, the outcome is amazing!

Because I am focusing of Halloween this month, I have chosen the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder, which can be found on page 53 of the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue.

Let's look at what you can create!

This technique will offer two looks, as you have a positive and negative to the folders, I love both, what is your favourite?

I hope your mind is racing on what you could create, its a great technique with so many options, let me know what embossing folder you would use to create a card.

It's so great to have you visit today, its Halloween month all through September, so stick with me this month, for some fun projects and cards.

This card is a 5 x 5" card, so a little different than a normal card, but its a quick card that is super cute (or spooky) too.

I have used the Traditional Halloween colours of Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black and Basic Grey.

But let me talk you through some of the New goodies from the Mini Catalogue.

I have used the Happy Haunting stamp set, I love this set as it covers lots of different occasions, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines are all covered in one stamp set!

Stampin Up's "Merry Moose" Bundle Card

Hello and Welcome,

Today's card is CASEd from the Stampin Up's Holiday Catalogue page 27, using the "Merry Moose" bundle. This bundle is a 17 piece photopolymer stamp set with coordinating punch.

I have changed this slightly from the catalogue, as I didn't have any of the Regals DSP, so improvising I stamped Shaded Spruce ink and the Buffalo Check stamp to the bottom of the card.

How gorgeous is that Moose, this is a very easy card to make, and would easily be made in multiples for your Christmas cards this year!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's CASE card is from the Holiday Catalogue on page 22. The "Playful Penguins" is such a cute stamp set, and is so versatile with the various sentiments, that I would definately recommend in purchasing.

This is a cute starry night scene using Alcohol spritzing, and is really easy to create.

Although I have changed the sequins on my card to retired ones, the "Snowflake Sequins" on page 43, would really look perfect on this card.

Today's project is a awesome Treat Holder using a new stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue called "Perfectly Plaid".I am also using the co - ordinating "Pine Tree" Punch, these both can be purchased in a bundle and you will save 10%.

This box is so elegant looking with the Copper, and Merry Melot paired together.

I started this box off with wanting to use the 1/2" Classic Weave Ribbon, which is part of the "Brightly Gleaming" Suite on pages 30 - 32, it is Very Vanilla and Copper, and is so elegant.

This ribbon also looks so perfect with the Merry Merlot background, and I love the Traditional colours for Christmas, so this was treat box turned out perfectly.

Hello and Welcome,

The Let's Get Hopping group are together again, and this month's theme is "CASEing the Catalaogue". If you are starting your journey here or you have hopped here from the amazing Mikaela Titheridge's blog I am so happy to have you here.

My card has been CASEd from the Holiday Catalogue and the "Let It Snow Suite" on page 18. I have taken this simple layout, and I just had to use my New favourite stamp set "Playful Penguins".

The Designer Series Paper in the background is the "Brightly Gleaming" specialty paper, and has the sparkliest copper stars.

Now to draw your eye to these gorgeous penguins, their snowy chests are created with the Snowy Accents Puff Paint, this can be found on page 19. It is easy to use and creates a really nice effect.
