Creating Masculine Fathers Day Cards using the "Fractured Technique"

Hi Friends,
I will be showing you a fun technique that is so hot right now. The "Fractured Technique" looks so technical but it really is an easy card to create.

VIEW VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

Before my live, I asked on my social media what colour combo you would like to see on tonight's card.

The colour combo's were -

It was close with the votes but the middle colour combo.

This is the card I created Live, I love how bright it is, who would have thought layering a square ( or sided shape ) to a centre of card, then adhering strips of co-ordinating card to the edges would create such a striking card.

This card was my first sample, using Wild Wheat, Boho Blue and Pebbled Path. The square die is from the Stylish Shape dies ( this set is my all time favourite must have lol )

I also wanted to share with you a card using this technique with Designer Series Paper, which also looks really good, but makes the card super quick and easy.

I hope that you have enjoyed today's card, and enjoyed a little inspiration for creating a card using the fun technique. I would love if you shared your creation with me.
If you would like to create this project yourself, you can purchase any of these products used in my Online Store, I would love to spoil you as a customer and friend.

If you haven't signed up for my emails you can do so on the side of this blog.

Creating 3 Cards using Watercolouring!

Hello Friends,
It's Watercolouring Month and I wanted to create a few cards using a few watercoloring techniques.

VIEW VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

Let's take a look at the cards we are creating!

This first card has been inked on an acrylic block, and sprayed with alcohol before stamping on fluid 100 water colour paper.

The second card I have used three colour inks to create a gradient wash, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody & Crushed Curry. Adding droplets of water to lift a little colour and create a great look at the same time.

Card three and my favourite I have used three colours to create a background, that is both soft and pretty, inks used Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie.

I hope that you have enjoyed today's project, if you haven't signed up for my emails you can do so on the side of this blog.
If you would like to join in this weeks challenge, create your project, and put a photo of it over on my Facebook page, the challenge will be pinned to the top of the page. I can't wait to see what you create.

Ink Smooshing is a great ink technique, it can be super messy but it can look amazing, especially on the Shimmery White card.

I love how I created the backdrop to this delicate die cut, the colours and shimmer really do come forward.
