This card uses the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and the Pine Tree Punch.

In the catalogue this is a set of 3 cards showing how to step up your cards, I love that our catalogues have so much inspiration for all levels of crafters.

With a few different layers and textures this card really is beautiful. Want to see how its created?

Let's Get Hopping # 33 "Christmas In July"

Hello and Welcome to another Blog Hop with the "Let's Get Hopping" group. Whether you have hopped here from the very talented Alicia's blog, or you are starting your journey here, I am so happy to have you visit.

The theme this month is "Christmas In July". Although we are only way half way through the year, there is no better time to start your Christmas craft then now, Christmas tends to have a way of sneeking up way too soon.

These little Christmas Trees can be used a few different ways. They make a great table decoration, place holder, or a treat holder.

These are so simple to create, I have Gold Heat Embossed 4 Trees from the "Perfectly Plaid" stamp set, and punched these out with the Pine Tree Punch.

Create a score line down both sides of your tree, this is where you will glue 3 sides together, so they will need to be scored in around the same position on each tree.

Using the two strips that have been scored, glue these together and this will be your base for the tree.

Snip the trunks from the trees and adhere to the base with liquid glue.

Punch a hole in the tree what will open and the middle of the three trees that are glued together.

Die Cut two stars from the Stitched Stars Die using Gold Foil. I have glued the two together at the top with a glue dot, and used liquid glue to adhere to the opening tree.

Lastly the tree is held together with the Gold Twine from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo.

The colours I have used are Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, and Garden Green.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today,to continue the hop and see what Mikaela Titheridge has created, please click on the link below.

Until Next Time,

Christmas Cracker using Stampin Up's "Toile Tidings" DSP!

Hello and Welcome,

Today's project is an amazing table gift to your loved ones on your Christmas table. These could be filled with your own jokes and treats, and the best thing is, they do not need to be ripped open!

I have made the Garden Green version, but adding the Real Red version in the mix would make it very pretty table!

There is a little to these boxes, but if you have scored really well in the right spots, these boxes aren't too hard, I do hope you will give them a go!

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop November

Hello and Welcome to the "Ink & Inspiration" blog hop for November. This month's theme is "All About Bling" You are currently visiting Tracy Bish from Australia. I hope you enjoy my card.

The New "Delicata Ink" in "Golden Glitz" is so bright, I knew that this paired with the Metallic Pearls would make an amazing card.

I had also been waiting to try a wreath style card using the "Perfectly Plaid" stamp set, where I have stamped the tree in Shaded Spruce ink on opposite sides using a star like pattern.

The Merry  die from the "Merry Christmas" Dies, sits perfectly in the middle inked with the Delicata ink.And for a little added bling the Gold Metallic Pearls, just finishes the card.

I hope you have enjoyed this fairly simple card, for more inspiration please see the list below, and hop through all the people.

Have a Wonderful Day!

Stampin Up's "Perfectly Plaid" Bundle Christmas Card!

Hello and Welcome,

It's that time of the month when I get together with Stampin Up Demo's around the world where we bring you a video using the same stamp set.

This month we will be showing you wonderful ideas for using the "Perfectly Plaid" stamp set.

This is one of my favourite bundles in the catalogue, and I am looking forward to seeing what everyone creates with it.But first, let me show you what I have created!

This is a clean card, but I wanted to show how a simple card can be stunning at the same time, and this would be an easy card to make multiples, and if you are looking at sending a few cards this year, maybe you would look at producing a few of these.

I love the colour combination of Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and a little Whisper White, not to mention the bronze from the star, and a little Vellum.
