Christmas Shaker Card!

Welcome Friends to another Facebook Challenge, I thought we might SKAKE things up Lol!!!

Let's see what Shaker cards you can come up with!

The Holly Jolly stamp set can be found on page 29 of the Mini Catalogue, its a cute one to colour, and the how adorable are the Santa's.

Shaker cards can be filled with many things, sequins, glitter, beads, I just happened to have old Stampin Up glitter in my stash, so that's what I have used. But Stampin Up also have a few ranges of sequins available that would look amazing too!

Sunday Facebook Challenge 1st August - Trees / Nature!

Hey Friends,

This week's challenge is a nature inspired theme, I really wanted to get out and use the "Beauty Of The Earth" Designer Series Paper. This paper  is Autumn themed and I couldn't go past pairing it with the Cute Bear from the "Count On Me" Stamp Set.

Z Fold cards look amazing, but are also really simple to create too, so I hope I can inspire you to create your own today.

I have teamed up a few supplies to create this card, I have used the Majestic Mountain dies for the tree diecuts, these look awesome with this paper, and I pulled the Misty Moonlight from the DSP to tie the trees together.

I have also used the Evergreen Forrest 3D embossing folder for the extra texture, although its not needed, I think it gives a great effect. And the cute bear is from the Count On Me stamp set.

Hello Friends,

Welcome to another Sunday Facebook Challenge, I hope you are all well and ready to join in a fun Colour Combo Challenge.

If you are new here, please take a minute to sign up for my regular emails, I love to share what I am up to, as well as what's going on in the Stampin Up World, and I share a FREE PDF Tutorial every month with you too.

This weeks colour combo is Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent, these are amazing colours together. I have blended the three colours in the background using the amazing Blending Brushes that Stampin Up now carry.

Adding an extra layer over the top with tinted (Mint Macaron) embossing paste, gives the card a really great texture, and also softens the Rich Razzleberry.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge 6th June

Hi Friends,
And welcome to another Sunday Facebook Challenge, I have a great theme this week, that I'm sure you are in need of some sort of card for a loved one. Could be a Birthday, Get Well, Thinking Of You or Sympathy. Whatever the need you will be covered for this weeks challenge.

I actually came across this bird piece while cleaning up my craft room, and being that I had taken the time to stamp, colour and fussy cut, I really wanted to use it on a card.

Softening the Brick embossed background with a piece of vellum really tones the card down, and the beautiful Very Vanilla Lace makes the birds pop.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge 30th May

Hi Friends,
Welcome to another Sunday Facebook Challenge, this weeks challenge is a Sketch Challenge, and this one is so open to your interpretation, the sky is the limit, and that is why I love creating Sketch Challenges, because everyone comes up with something so different.

I have used the Fine Art Floral Suite from the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue on pages 32 - 34, this suite is amazing. I love the textures and colours in the Designer Series Paper, the richness of gold throughout, and the texture on both the Designer Series Paper and the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

I love the effect of the sentiment, its like an dipped in gold effect by partly heat embossing the sentiment, adding to the Gold flecked ribbon I have used behind, this is the Fine Art 3/8" Ribbon and its part of this wonderful suite.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge 23rd May

Hello Friends,

Welcome to another Sunday's Facebook Challenge, I am so happy to have you visit and hope that you will join in this weeks challenge, the theme is "Punches" and I am sure every crafter have a few in their stash. Dust them out and lets get crafty!

Today' s card I am playing with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and the punch in this bundle is the Strawberry Builder Punch, this bundle is carrying over to Stampin Up's New Annual Catalogue, and I am so happy as I have not played with this set nearly enough yet.

This card is a Z Fold card, it looks fancy and its so easy to create. I wanted fun colours for this card but I didn't want to go with the traditional colours of Real Red, so I went with Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee, all together they are so pretty.

The Strawberry Builder punch has multiple punched images, strawberry, the hull, flower and leaf, I have used all four punch pieces on my card, and this really does create a great 3D effect.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge 16th May

Hello Friends,

Welcome to Sunday, and another Challenge. This weeks theme is a Colour Challenge, and I thought it would be fun to look at a colour family. Well I am a brights girl, but I thought we should do something a little different, so lets look at the "Neutrals" family.

I have chosen a few colours from the family which are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, and Night Of  Navy.

Love this card, the stamp set I have used is "Enjoy The Moment" and it is carrying over to the New Stampin Up Annual Catalogue, which is so wonderful.

The technique I have used for the background is "Emboss Resist", this technique is so easy to create, and uses my favourite technique of Heat Embossing. I have also used the Stampin Up Blending Brushes to create the background, and these brushes are awesome. If you haven't tried them yet, they are so worth purchasing, great even coverage with no swirl or unsightly marks being left on your card.

Hello Friends,

Welcome to another Sunday Facebook Challenge, this week's theme is "FLOWERS" I know this is going to be a hard theme Lol! he hardest part being what floral stamp set you are going to choose!

I have used the Fine Art Floral Suite which can be found in the Stampin Up Mini Catalogue on pages 32 - 34. This suite is amazing! Both the Art Gallery Bundle, Fine Art Floral DSP and Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder are a must have.

You can never go wrong with a  little heat embossing, here I have used the Silver, and mixed with Basic White and Pool Party it creates a very light and soft card.
